@feditips So funny that this is one of the first posts I see as I'm checking out the new mastodon app for android. I tried it back in November and quickly switched over to Tusky for better functionality. I hope the newly revamped and amped up version I'm trying today will be a big improvement

@arossp Maybe this time it's true, but for DECADES appeals to stop jokes at others' expense - racist, sexist, homophobic, fat-phobic, insensitive to the disabled, transphobic - have been met with wails of "you have no sense of humor! you're killing comedy!" And yet comedy thrives.
FWIW, I've been here pretty much daily since Nov and I haven't experienced any of these humorless people.
Mastodon probably won't be the Next Big Thing, but I think it will eventually be The Thing.

@HaplogroupNews @lauren ?It wasn't doing that when I saw it. I'm using Tusky, maybe it doesn't show things like that?
