I'm really grateful to the people this year who've helped me be less reactionary and sit in my discomfort. Just because I am an anxious person, does not mean I get to protect myself above all others. I must pause, I must think, THEN I can act.

I really do need to write on the work we've done together properly, as well as work on what we'd like strange object to be in the future (after ADHD treatment is stable) but in lieu of that I have to thank @evel for the things they've been teaching me these past few months.

Filling out my dosage increase titration form and every time they ask for "current height". Do ADHD meds make you taller? 🤔

I sadly put that there's been no positive effect and could I move up to 50mg earlier. I used the fact it took me 20 minutes to fill out the form because I had like four separate work conversations when I was filling it out 😮💨

Before I start to rage piss on this quote, some facts:
- Millenials is nomenclature to describe anyone born between 1981 and 1996.
- Gen Z is anyone born between 1997 and 2013.
- I am 32 years old this month. I was born in 1991. I am a millenial.
- The oldest Gen Z'er is 25.

"Millenials don't want to work"

Honestly? Yes and no. We want to see more return for our labour.

We don't want to sit down for 8-10 hours a day earning thousands for the big man, and getting a tenner in return.

This is not a "milennial" thing, this is a "human" thing, this is a "working class" thing.

Rather than you know, reflect on that, we say that milennials are lazy and the reason they can't afford a house is because they eat too much Avocado toast and not because of wages not rising accurately along side the cost of living and inflation.

We eat too much toast, my Gen X parents famously have never eaten a toast and that's why they were able to buy their London council flat for 60k in the early 2000's, sell it for 300k in 2013 and it's now worth about 420k in 2023.

It is of course, as old as time that we refer to the generation that comes after us as entitled baby whiners who want everything.

Why? Because we don't like that they won't settle for what we settled for.

Politicians need someone to blame, them and the media do the orgasmic dance of "blaming the youth" when the youth is like, 30.

The next generation are just a bunch of adults who are like "fuck this, I want better".

So, why don't you want things to be better?
