Twitter to Mastodon migration tip: you can set your Twitter account to private ("Protected") so only people who follow you can see your tweets (and you get to decide who can follow you).

This is great if you want off that service but don't want anyone else to get your handle or impersonate you, as well as perhaps stay in contact with people who don't want or can't migrate over here.
