🚨 Google is killing Android freedom. 🚨 

In 2027, Google plans to roll out mandatory developer verification globally. Apps from developers who haven't registered with Google will face restrictions on certified Android devices → including apps installed outside Google Play.

This undermines one of Android’s defining features: the freedom to install software from wherever you choose. 😤🚩

Today, the minister for AI and Online Safety, Kanishka Narayan, announced that for now the government would not take any action to restrict VPN's in the UK.

After the EU parliament has rejected it TWICE in the past, it has been pushed as an urgent procedure for a new plenary vote. The EU has simply continued to put the vote on the agenda to get the outcome they've wanted since the start.
