The rules of a panopticon:
1. The prisoners are transparent. They are seen by the guards AND they know
2. The guards are opaque, they are not seen by the prisoners
3. The prisoners do not talk with each other

Now replace prison with big corporates, guards with managers, prisoners with managees.

I think that today I will finally learn about myself, will finally understand why I have an "allergy" against hierarchy.
