I'll soon switch to Graphene OS on my smartphone, I'll write about it for sure, this is going to be quite a journey :flan_laugh:

@joostruis this kind of package benefits a lot from ccache if you rebuild it often without toolchain change

@Chris1776 there is nothing close to USE flags in BSD ports. FreeBSD has something a bit similar but it's nowhere near the level of USE flags customization.
It can be useful to strip a bit packages (remove documentation, examples, samples) or enable/disable some features, but Gentoo ebuilds usually allow a lot more

@rqm for work I have a FIDO2 Yubikey Bio that uses fingerprints to get unlocked
This one can not be used as bioctl does not support FIDO2

@stilla you need a valid certificate, a self signed certificate will not be accepted by bitwarden clients

@pertho I don't think so, it's a huge project and it's already hard to get it to work on Linux, so I would expect it to be a nightmare to run on OpenBSD 😅
maybe give it a try? https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/

A really great Firefox extension (mostly for non-English users?)
This disables reddit auto translation! A few months ago, reddit started to add a GET parameter to URLs to force translation, so once you load such link you MUST edit the URL to remove that parameter to get the original language version.
This extension always trim that parameter to see the original version.

@evgandr systemd logs to journald which uses a binary format for fast queries and rich logs, there are like 20 metadata for each line of logs, and you can filter them in a single command line without regex.
Note that it's possible to just add ForwardToSyslog=Yes to /etc/systemd/journald.conf to forward logs to syslog which will then dispatch in /var/log as the old behavior

@imouthes @solenepercent you could just tunnel DNS requests through the VPN ;)
a VPN does not necessarily route all IPs
