My office window looks into our backyard where we have loads of bird feeders. Over the past couple of weeks, we've had magpies, crows, and jays bringing their young into the yard and teaching them things / feeding them. While they are SUPER CUTE, OMG are the young ones are so noisy! This week, they have all been standing next to the adult birds while screaming and demanding to be fed. This starts just before sunrise, which is at 4:45am here in the UK.

We’ll, that’s a first. I just got trapped in an elevator in a hotel where none of the buttons worked (including the alarm) and electric smoke was coming out of the panel. I had to pull a she hulk and force the doors open to get out 😲🙄 On the upside, that’s not enough to get in the way of me enjoying the sea and sun in Malta with a margarita!

Apparently, if you get stuck in a lift that’s smoking and she hulk your way out, the hotel might leave a delicious bottle of fizz on ice in your room to compensate for the “challenges experienced” 😁💖🎉🥂

After spending the day working on house stuff, we’re enjoying some snacks and martinis with cocktail umbrellas (because we decided during the pandemic that little umbrellas make all drinks more fun) while we wait for the homemade pizza crust to rise and the sauce to reduce. #PizzaNight

And the finished pizza was delicious!
