We'll use today's Transgender Day of Visibility to celebrate the resilience of trans people in the face of an increasing anti-trans political landscape and raise awareness of the fact that not everybody can or wants to be visible.
Privacy and visibility should be about self-determination and agency. Everyone deserves to be able to choose when, and with whom, they share personal information.
? Tor Browser 12.0 has landed! This release includes an upgrade to Firefox ESR 102, multi-locale bundles for desktop, native support for Apple Silicon, HTTPS by default and redirects to .onion site for Android, plus support for Albanian and Ukranian.
As a nonprofit, the Tor Project relies on donations, not profit, to fight for privacy online. We don’t harvest or sell your data and we don't charge to use Tor. That means that everyone, everywhere, can use Tor for free.
Because Tor is built on donations, we need those who are able to step up and make a monthly donation to ensure Tor is available for everyone, no matter their circumstances:
? A new Tor stable (0.4.5.14, 0.4.6.12 and 0.4.7.10) was released today with an urgent bug fix (geoip data bug). Tor relay operators, please upgrade as they become available to you.
