The German environmental agency publishes data on emissions of factories/power plants etc. in Germany. To better work with that data, I created a docker image that allows me accessing the data through MySQL/MariaDB (either directly or phpMyAdmin). https://github.com/hannob/thrusql

TIL: Müllmenge misst man in Megagramm, weil Tonnen könnte man ja mit Mülltonnen verwechseln. Das hat mich gerade echt verwirrt, ich dachte: "was ist denn Mg bitte für eine Einheit?"

Mt is a Megaton, mt a milliton, but TIL some people also use mt (or MT) as an abbreviation for metric ton (aka a ton). Unless you know that you'll be a million times off...
