This is what happens when so-called law enforcement is given a consequence free hand and is even able to twist the definition of words to meet arrest quotas.
One of the words being used by ICE is detention. The actual word is imprison- what you call it when you take someone shackled wrists and ankles with chains and put them in a locked cell.

Have you read the Sharp novels by Bernard Cornwell? His journey with Sharp through the colonization of India and through the Napoleonic War is detailed and well written historical fiction.

I haven't read that Trump has actually paid anything to anyone. The only news stories have been about Giuliani coughing up ( Oog!) what he was ordered to pay to the two Georgia election workers that he slandered. I'd appreciate any link to a news story that said Trump paid out what he was ordered.
