Wrote a detailed post on how to make your own vinyl stickers!
(Also think I got my opengraph meta tags working nicely for every page on my site now. 🤞)

13 years ago today! #wwdc
New Ivory promo page!
For those who can't stomach the presidential address going on right now, I took a screen capture for you. 🫣
Such a beautiful day (finally), I brought 2 bikes to the skatepark today.
Anyone see anything new on TestFlight? 🫣
Designing and creating stickers for myself:
I feel creative! I’m an artist! 🧑🎨
Designing and creating stickers for my wife:
I feel like a craft mom. 👩
Sometime early next year I’ll have my own storefront on my website and will be selling various items with my design work. Shirts are printed myself in my garage and I’m applying labels and tags as well. Definitely not something I will be doing in huge volumes because of it, but I’ve always wanted to make and sell my own physical products. This is me doing just that.
Hopefully what I learn from this experience can be applied to Tapbots goods sometime after.
It's happening very slowly, but I'm glad they are still moving forward with Fediverse integration. I created an account on Threads (a few months ago) just to see what's going on over there and the algorithmic feed is a complete dumpster fire. I just want to be able to follow and interact with some people/brands on Threads without having to have all the garbage fed to me.

Bummed that Fallout was only 8 episodes and that I've already gone through them all. It's going to be a long wait.
We've finally got around to fixing the MacOS share sheet for Ivory and @todd has been killing it! Still have a few more things to fix, but can't wait to get this out to everyone and then get working on the iOS version. 🫣 These are screenshots of the actual share sheet (the backgrounds have vibrancy, but screenshots disable them for whatever reason).
Shot with my iPhone using one of the cheap eclipse glasses over the lens. The light outside is kind of eerie.
And some mediocre photos I was able to capture with my DSLR. I definitely don't know what I'm doing when it comes to shooting into space. I set the focus to infinity for a bunch of shots, but the clouds were blurry. I should be a better photographer by the time the next one can be seen from Texas again. (sarcasm) 😅 #eclipse
32x timelapse of how the sky looked through the event. #eclipse
2 more. #eclipse
Was working on my car over the weekend and my phone fell out of my pocket maybe 6” or less from the ground (I was on my back bolting something under my car) and the back cracked. Must have fell right on some small rock or something based on the impact point, but surprised that it cracked like this from such a small drop.
It’s been a long week.
I mean I could have just had AI do the work for me and spent all that time on my bike. 🤷♂️
It's the year 2024. AI can generate convincing videos. I can watch movies in a headset that rival the experience of going to a movie theater. Cars are becoming more proficient at driving themselves. Phone screens can fold in half…
…yet I still get at least 10-15 spam calls a day and there's not much that can be done about it. Tech companies are solving the wrong problems. 😩
Designer/co-owner @tapbots. Currently busy building @ivory, a Mastodon Client for iOS and the Mac with @paul and @todd!Obsesses over bikes (MTB, Trials, Dirt Jumpers) Apparently I get hurt too much doing dumb (yet fun!) things on bicycles for a kid in his mid 40's. Before bikes I obsessed over racing cars and go-karts on the track for 10 years.🇺🇸+🇰🇷
