Before it started, Pohl asked "What is hell is the Singularity?"

I filled him in.

Right there, in front of Vinge:

Watched "Jurassic Park: Rebirth" at a cheapskate tuesday matinee.

Good fun stuff. You can tell right away which characters are going to get eaten, but that didn't detract from the occasional twist.

@inarticulatequilter @bouncinglime We are looking into arranging for 4 - 6 simultaneous "Four Corner" protests, inviting people in various parts of our Portland suburb county to go to the nearest designated intersection.

People out for a drive will hopefully see multiple events, and think the whole country is rising up.
