I'm trying to picture Trump era iron lungs.
You need to have subscription to them to keep working, although some models are free as long as the occupant and their visitors watch the advertising feed that plays on its built-in flat screens.

I made my first dumpster diving score in many months!
Two . . . litter baskets. Clean and undamaged.
The tall black one could be used as a hamper.
In 1987-1988 I worked for a computer supply place called Logicsoft. They went horribly bankrupt. I was hired by the bank to help liquidate inventory. I ended up with a dozen heavy duty rubber-ish office trash bins. I *still have six of them* (employed as recyclable sorting bins) after 36 years.
2/ . . . and private contractors. Essentially, people driving their own cars to drop off parcels.
The landscaping around the facility is nice. Wide berm, pedestrian sidewalk, grassy strip with trees, bicyclist sidewalk.
Even on business days I hardly run into anyone. Not a place for humans.

There is remarkably little litter around there; there is no one to drop it.
Except for water bottles. *Full of pee.*

1/ Got in my "steps" today walking Daphne through a office/industrial park area. Very light traffic on a Sunday afternoon, so the road noise was minimal so I could hear my podcasts.
One long stretch was occupied by a huge Amazon warehouse / transport facility. It dispatches both Amazon trucks . . .
Amazon warehouse observation:

It was bustling. Folks getting in beach time while the weather is still good.
@MicheleV_AK I was at this very spot last September!

@adam You've probably been offered one already, but if you want a Bluesky invite so you can post there, just give a holler.
@adam Bluesky is another Twitter alternative. Currently a much saner place than X.
If you want to give it a try:
