novelWriter 2.2 has just been released. This is the third release of the 2.x revamp. This time the focus has been on text editing, with several improvements to the tags and references system, detailed lists of all your tags, and more options for text formatting like sub- and superscript. For the first time, multi-select in the project tree is also possible for certain tasks.
Please see the release notes for more details.

Last, but not least, App Bundle and DMG image releases have been added by GitHub user Ryex.
This is the first release that includes them. Hopefully this is a better solution for Mac users than the previously available install methods. Note that the documentation is not up to date on these yet.
Install by pip (PyPi) is still the fallback solution for all platforms, and should always work, also on Mac.
Patch release 2.0.5 is out!

- The Open Document generated by the build tool is now compliant with the ODF 1.3 extended format.
- Italian translation has been added, contributed by Riccardo Mangili.
- Russian is now available for manuscript builds, but not yet for the GUI.
A patch release 2.0.3 was released yesterday. This patch fixes a number of minor issues, including fixing the option to convert a folder to a document in the project tree.
novelWriter 2.0 has been released!
I've been working on this release for most of this year, and it includes a bunch of requested features. There are more planned, but I've decided to split them over three releases to avoid the long wait between them.
In 2.1 I plan to redesign the Build Manuscript tool, and in 2.2 the text editor will get a bunch of feature updates.
