Sweden just casually signs a 1,6B deal to assist Ukraine.

Most of this of course is spent home, creating jobs in the defence sector while Ukraine gets the end product.

If we scale according to population, this single package is worth to the Swedish population MORE THAN THE ENTIRE MILITARY AID OF USA TO UKRAINE.

They aren’t complaining. They’re very happy about the jobs.

If you raise taxes on the rich, the rich will leave and take all the tax money with them!

Reality:
Where is their wealth in? Assets. Buildings. Infrastructure. Companies. Should they leave, you tax them even more for operating those assets remotely from their tax havens. They’ll come crawling back!

I applaud my president Alexander Stubb for doing a great job so far with both Zelenskyi and Trump.

He’s taken his special circumstance and used it to bring hope of a ceasefire closer to what it has been in more than 3 years.

But I also know him as a politician. I fear he would be all smiles even past the point when he shouldn’t anymore. That’s the dark side of all neoliberal politicians.

I am a feminist.

But if we look at where MAGA, AfD and the anti-woke is coming from: That’s a lot of men left behind by society.
