@georgetakei I came to understand that the college experience is not about teaching you what to think, but how to think independently, as an adult. Some thought of it as an extension of high school social clubs and dynamics. If you had access and took the right lessons and value from the experience, and have no job, that's on you.

@georgetakei So I grew up in Medina, OH, basically all of elementary school 2-6. Public schools. Awesome public schools, teachers, and community. I am disgusted that this guy represents Ohio in any way.
@georgetakei When I was growing up, a beekeeper in my grandmother's neighborhood had built really cool play equipment in his yard, and encouraged neighborhood kids (and parents) to use it. Until some kid got hurt, sued him, and he had to shut it all down, lost a lot of money and it probably devastated him, just because he built a playground.
@georgetakei The most disturbing part of this story is that Starlink engineers were willing to follow this order. I'm pretty sure I would have refused, and counted on being able to get a new job pretty easily.
