This is the kind of shit that makes me self-censor. I’d rather remain silent and avoid discussing my personal negative experiences of race than to endure people responding with ignorance, condescension and interrogation.

In conclusion: Please advocate Mastodon’s developers to add the ability to turn off replies. It might be our best way to discourage this genre of racist flame-warring, until the people who engage in that behavior do some major self-reflection.
