As I notice others performing their exodus from linux towards an untainted tech stack (and plan to do the same myself), I have to wonder...

What about gaming? I enjoy the use of Steam to play games with my friends. Eventually (if it hasn't already), it will almost certainly fall to the slop.

It puts me in a weird spot because interaction with those close to me will be gated by my interaction with this disgusting poisoned software. I don't have a good answer yet beyond "open the gate a little" by dual-booting a poisoned linux distro solely to play games that I can't run on Haiku/NetBSD/etc.
