I feel whenever I play a game with voice comms lately there are always young American guys extremely upset about the state of their life and many of them are very suicidal about it. I think the US needs to treat young men better, pay them more, etc. It is really sad. Just last night, I spent a 40 min #counterstrike match consoling a young guy who wants to end his life because he is completely isolated and is stuck making min wage. He was sobbing during our entire conversation :( Encounters like this have always been a thing in online spaces, but the frequency of these encounters feels incredibly high recently.
