Our new NLnet grant is officially signed! We're starting work :) The main focus is:

- Creating materials to support the Forgejo federation implementation

- Documentation for the specification

- Implementing the Vervis backed API in the Anvil frontend

Forgejo could enjoy more Go developers joining the federation team! It might be the best way to contribute to forge federation right now.

? ForgeFed has a final approval on funding from NLNet, and is going to be funded via the @NGIZero Entrust program! Yayyyyy

➕ This is in addition to the Gitea Federation grant that's been recently approved as well!

The roadmap for 2023 is still being prepared, I'll publish as soon as it's ready and signed. Once that happens, the funding will officially begin.

The frontend side is still the weaker one; if you're a designer/frontend dev and wanting to help, let us know!

? Had a meeting with people from/related to Bonfire, Solidground, Sandstorm, Spritely, about RPC and OCAPs, and discussion continues on the Forge Federation Matrix room https://matrix.to/#/#general-forgefed:matrix.batsense.net

? My next task with Vervis is to switch the code's architecture into an actor model system, greatly simplifying the forge logic implementation
