these are the rocks and fossils i collected yesterday and today. i need to clean them and take better closeup photos soon because there’s a lot of detail on some of them that are invisible in photos

from left to right,

top row: quartz geode, asphalt, marble

second row: marine vertebrate fossils collected from a limestone riverbed

bottom row: mollusc fossil in shale, detailed invertebrate fossil in limestone, shell/mollusc fossils

I made anti-nausea tea for myself

- lots of ginger
- anise
- ceylon cinnamon
- a bit of nutmeg
- wild chaga mushroom chunks
- a bit of black pepper
- a little bourbon vanilla

simmer for a couple of hours on low heat. it’s really intense. i’m drinking it with a bit of coconut sugar. smells like christmas!
