EvilCheezGrater@feditips Great tip - but instead of repeatedly posting it as a tip, which people see AFTER they have fretted over choosing a server and been puzzled by how this works, make it part of an easy ‘walk-though’ BEFORE they choose, during the sign-up process. Mastodon has squandered so many potential users through a stubbornness not to address these issues
