Film synopses in the year 2000 were all like: “EvilCorp have developed software that will erase your privacy. These modern heroes will delete it all and save the world from dystopia!”
In the real world, it didn’t happen so fast and the heroes were easily subdued by free accounts and shiny toys.
Life slowly imitated art.
