    Happy 2025. MORTIGRAD has been left sitting since March of 2024 due to a combination of personal things and life in general. I am happy to say that MORTIGRAD will be going through an overhaul this year to fit a much more clear and concise vision I have been planning. Expect things to be changed and new things to be added in the coming weeks/months.

    Whoever thought third party launchers were a good idea for PC gaming genuinely needs to face prosecution. I can't play any Rockstar titles on PC because of their broken launcher that gets exploited every few months. I can't play titanfall 2 on the northstar client because I'm required to use the EA app, which is broken and softlocks you constantly. Even when a third party launcher does work you have to live with the fact that you have an account for a service which once again failed to replace steam for the sole purpose of playing like one or two games because it forces you to use it.

    I buy game. I hit play. Game loads and I have fun. Whichever arkham asylum patient looked at that and decided to make the process harder is someone who I very much would like to meet. And believe me, I will.

    Issue #6 is going to be posted in early January, marking the first newsletter for volume 2. Experimented with a custom encoded language and accompanying cipher, which are still in a simple/early state. This next volume will mark a new and more coherent chapter for the newsletters, and I'm very excited to launch this.
