As of Wednesday evening, absolutely nothing has happened to move the bill on the floor, and it’s becoming obvious the number of House Republicans who have problems with it is not small enough to bribe or bully into compliance.”

So, to summarize, the Left turned out an estimated 5 million Americans in peaceful parades in support of basic Constitutional values, well-organized with no incidents, while the Right had a rinky-dink parade sponsored by Palantir and Coinbase and blink-and-you’ll-miss-it fireworks show for a crowd of hundreds, drove cars through crowds, and assassinated a state Senator

Because once the martial law genie is out of the bottle in LA it’s easier to preemptively uncork it in other cities, then nationwide, then call it an “emergency” and start dismantling the Constitution. It’s a manufactured autocoup.

Title 10 and nationalizing the CA NG is not an overreaction. It’s a tactic. It’s an intentional escalation in reaction to a protest that the Federal government intentionally provoked with an over-militarized “immigration” raid.

Its intent is to bring a larger protest in reaction, and lie about it in order to justify an even larger show of force. Repeat until “we had to declare martial law.”

Bill Atkinson was one of the most brilliant, imaginative, and compelling people I ever had the privilege to work with. His vision touched every device you use today. And his heart, his open love and humanity, exceeded all of that.

There’s no such thing as “deporting a citizen.” If a government takes a citizen into custody, flies them to a foreign country without a trial and hands them over to a foreign government, that’s human trafficking.

I know what’s SUPPOSED to happen—impeachment, trial, conviction, and expulsion—but the chances that 18 GOP Senators will vote for the Constitution over the Federalist Society are slim.

No, really—when (not if, when) a Federal judge says that the Executive can’t unilaterally dissolve a Congressionally-created Federal agency, and the circuit agrees, and SCOTUS lets the injunction stand, what’s going to happen when the White House says “Fuck you” and ignores them?

All of this is about white male minority rule fighting back against their inevitable (and just) loss of privilege and entitlement. It won’t succeed, but it could take a long time and harm millions in its failure.
