Good morning tooters. It’s a slightly cloudy morning for a change, pink streaks when I got up an hour ago. It’s 23c now & again another stinker of 38c. #Weather.
I discovered something last night & it really cooled my place down well which helped me to sleep well - unless it’s coincidence. My aircon was on again all night, but I changed it to the humidity💧setting as it’s a fresher cool & cheaper to run. The humidity outside was about 30% but I don’t think it matters in the scheme of things. So I’m going to keep doing that until the overnight temps get to a much more comfortable level. #Sleep #HotNights #Summer.
Heading to the pool 🏊🏼♀️ in less than an hour, meeting a friend for some laps & a laugh. My daughter & grandson will meet me there after school drop off & when I’ll have just about finished my laps with luck. #Exercise #Swimming #Fun

Good morning tooting friends. It’s a beautiful morning again, bright blue sky, a little hazy around the hills & a pleasant 22c right now. Today could be like yesterday though as we’re heading to 32c but storms are forecast for this afternoon again. The humidity is pretty high too at 80%, but there is a bit of a breeze atm which is lovely #Weather.
Planning a 45min thrive online class this morning courtesy of #LesMills & then head to visit my sister for the rest of the morning.
A few jobs to do outside, but nothing urgent. I can hear the water from the hose attached to my water tank dribbling in the drain due to yesterday’s storm.
I seem to have a lot of baby wrens around, at least I assume they’re babies as they are so tiny & incredibly cute. No way I can get a picture, they flit around so fast. Lots of highly pitched chirping.

I can’t believe I watched all this, but believe it was important to do so. Dutton comes in around the 35 minute mark. It is important to watch & to share. My only gripe is while it’s fine to criticise & critique what they say, their accents, what they’re wearing should not come into it because that isn’t important. It’s what they say that needs to be reported. #AusPol The plans the coalition & Rinehart have for Australia!

Good morning tooters. It’s a lovely fresh & cool 19c outside right now, but heading to a hot 35c 🥵. #Weather
I have to get myself organised fairly quickly as I have Miss 7 coming to spend the day with me. Girl time for grandma & granddaughter, although all she wants to do is play with the Star Castles 🏰. These toys were her Mums that I’ve kept & involve very tiny figurines & parts. Miss 7 loves it, but can only play with it if she’s on her own as her little brother is quite rough & not allowed near it 😂.
We will be going out for lunch, nowhere fancy, just the local bakery/cafe but they’ll have food she will like. Apart from that, it’ll be a fairly quiet day.

Good morning tooting friends. Up just before 6 turned off the aircon & opened up. It’s still warm & muggy at about 27c & we’ve had a little rain. Heading up do a better but humid 31c.
I have to admit that while I slept it wasn’t restful. My windows are usually open 99% of the time, summer & winter, day or night. They may be just cracked open a little or open wide. To have my aircon on though I have to have everything shut & it just feels different. Still, at least I was comfortable. The aircon is cleaning itself for the next couple of hours & while it is getting warmer I’ll just use fans for the morning.
Wandering my garden early & I have teeny tiny cucumbers & I’ve finally spied tomatoes coming. With luck I might get a little time outside today. There’s an area in my very back garden that needs some work.

Good morning tooters. Another lovely cool night, but they’re ending, nights are going to be warmer from now on 😕. It’s about 16c now & heading to 29c.
I’ve been tossing up whether to go for a swim or a walk. If I get moving I can go for a walk & then a swim 🏊🏻 on Friday as the morning will be warmer then - & I just made that decision right now 😁.

Good morning tooters. It’s a beautiful morning, the grass is cool & damp & everything feels nice & fresh. If the forecast is correct though we’re heading to 36c ☹️ 😖. I know other places are going to get it worse, but too hot is too hot 🥵.
I’m all ready to do an exercise 🧘🏼♀️class before it gets too warm, then I’m going to put down a bit more mulch on the garden & give everything a good watering & pull the outdoor blinds down. Won’t be too long before they’re down for the whole of the summer. At the moment I don’t need to though, so down just for today.
I remembered late last night that there’s an inspection of the units today. That explains all the activity from the other two units. A couple of trailers coming & going, the sounds of lawnmowers & vacuum cleaners 😄.

Will the Coalition release its costings before the election? They will make
"other announcements in due course".
So so far:
We don't know how much it would cost;
We don't know what reactors they would use; We don't know how they would purchase the privately owned coal
stations;
We don't know how they would overcome state objections;
We don't know where the waste would go;
We don't know how they plan on building two of the reactors within the
2035-37 timeline;
We don't know where the funding would come from; There has been no serious consultation with communities; and
There has been no serious research undertaken with the sites.

Good morning tooters. The sun is back 😃 & while the BOM says it’s supposed to be raining, there isn’t a cloud in the sky at the moment. It’s already about 10c & should get to just 15c but right now it feels like it may get a little higher.
As soon as I’m showered I’m heading off for a walk by the river, explore some more of the new area if I can & get some of that sunshine & vitamin D. It’ll do me good, I’ve been a little heady since I mowed the other day & started sneezing last night. A touch of a cold or a bit of hay fever 🤷🏼♀️, I’m never sure as they’re similar, but it’s mild & it is that time of year after all. Luckily it usually doesn’t last long.

Omgosh. I could hear a peeping bird noise in the garden that I don’t usually hear but didn’t investigate for a while. It was an Australian King Parrot on my wee gazebo just outside my sliding doors & then on the Stonecrop plant. Its mate arrived as well, but left quickly. This is rare in my garden, so I’m rapt. I love our Aussie birds, they’re magnificent. #Birds #KingParrot #Australia
