I'm starting to see people outside my bubble boycotting US made products/services and I find it beautiful, sure some of them are buying a Xiaomi instead of the new iPhone but it's a start.

Also overheard a conversation in a restaurant about electric cars, someone said:
- For that price you could buy a Tesla model 3
- Fuck Tesla I wouldn't get one even if they paid me

*I'm from Porto, Portugal we swear a lot, it's cultural. What they said in Portuguese was:

Eu quero que a Tesla se foda, nem que me pagassem queria um carro desses filhos da puta.

Trying new cloud storage solutions and @filen looks the best so far (for my needs), affordable, zero-knowledge, nice clients for all platforms, including #Linux and #Android, automatic backup of photos and videos, encrypted notes and chat, no hidden limits and since it's German it complies with GDPR and EU legislation.

Pretty impressed so far 🤔

It's time to move to GNU/Linux people, both Microsoft and Apple are shoving AI down our throats, requiring more and more data from us and push us to subscribe to whatever cloud product they control.

I say no, Linux gives me freedom to use it however I want, control my data, if I use a cloud service for backups or just do it the old-fashioned way and use external hard drives, what accounts I chose to login to and what AI if any I'll use.

Still have to use Windows for work, but at least it's just in the work computer.

If you can, choose freedom, even if it requires an initial effort to migrate from proprietary software you may use to open source alternatives, and don't forget to support the open source projects you love.

Just unfollowed a few inactive accounts (as in no activity since 2022). Just wondering if there is a tool to do this automatically ?

It's not a necessity by any means, the accounts are just there on the following list, they're not harming anyone
