@glyph Well in good news for your wallet, it's sold out, for now at least. The Valve tech team said they learned a lot making it and hope to do more (I would get a frosted blue-white one in a heartbeat)
I could write a long essay about the nature of translucent consumer electronics being one that encourages exploration, of treating the things that we use as constructed items that can be understood and repaired rather than mere black boxes, encouraging the next generation of engineers and technicians to gain a passion for knowing how things work...

Out of curiosity - what would drive you to set up a single user instance if you could still have your own domain and theming on a shared one - the ability to control your own moderation?
