Zero-read content will be the #1 buzzword in 2025

Older generations - the main consumers of written content - are shrinking every year, while newer generations hate reading.

Technologies are evolving to save people from reading, and this is a rebellious trend.

Yet I see SEOs betting on written content to scale text, as if the demand for articles is growing like never before

It's like trying to build more cars with internal combustion engines when people are leaning towards electric cars #SEO

I just shipped the feature I've been working on for the last 4 months.

I always feel so empty after that, because there's a vacuum inside of me until I get a new idea, a new horizon, a new goal.

Sitemaps transfer PageRank 🔥

According to the PageRank formula, every page starts with a baseline PageRank value.

This means that even without inbound links, a page has a minimum PageRank value that it can transfer to other pages.

The PR patent does not explicitly say that some types of pages will transfer PR while others won't.

This means that it's not impossible for XML pages (like sitemaps) to transfer PageRank 🙂 .

And this is why SEOs report that sitemaps with 10k or even 1k pages work better than those with 50k pages... 😄
