I've tagged version 0.3.1 of #livi (a little video player targeting #LinuMobile): https://gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/livi/-/tags/v0.3.1

It mostly happened because I forgot to update the metainfo for 0.3.0 (which makes us look outdated on #flathub) 🤦♂️ . But there's one change still: livi now supports surface suspend so saves CPU cycles when the window is occluded (if the Wayland compositor supports it (#phosh will support that from 0.45. onwards).

Current state of the 🌎 shows me again how important it is that the 📱 in our pockets can stay free of surveilance and be used as their users intend to, not any corporation.

This is even more motivation to hack on #phosh and #LinuxMobile

@anchal We have a >2y old merge request sitting in git that wasn't moving and your post prompted the idea that we can simplify this a lot and just use a notification when we detect a portal and then open the browser when the user clicks on it. Thanks for that!

(Ignore the fact that it opens phosh's home page in the video, that's just because I faked the Wi-Fi captive portal for testing in a nested session (that's also why FF won't fit 😃 ).

Hopefully we can land this for 0.45.

@maryjane Every day 😄 but in this case it was a Lime2 from @olimex which does DHCP, cups and a lot of other things over here.

The fact that #Debian's installer runs in #screen by default when run on a serial console is so super useful everytime I'm using it.
