My impression so far is, if one is looking for an audience, then Mastodon definitely isn't the right place.

However, I have found here genuine interactions. The thing is, Mastodon seems closest to the "real life" dynamics, with all its downsides and drawbacks, yes. It's neither easy nor straightforward to connect here, pretty much for the same reasons as in real life, but when it works, it's nice.

I won't go to Bluesky, I don't need nor want the

social networks. I came to realise that I like better the small scale and genuineness that I seem to have found here. @tiago
