@emilymbender I detest the term "We must educate the public...". It gives the impression the public are dumb and that the person doing the "educating" is somehow "superior". The challenge is to engage people and that is something totally different. That requires the public to be part of a process of self-learning through engagement rather than simply needing to be "told" what they should/need to know.

@simon Interesting but what's the point in human terms - to ultimately make us all irrelevant?
