Let’s be explicitly clear.

The Electoral College exists because enslavers wanted to count their enslaved in their vote total without freeing them, much less giving them voting rights. That is the one purpose the Electoral College ever served.

Pro Electoral College is pro white supremacy. Abolish it.

JD Vance and other MAGA Republicans are claiming that "Haitian immigrants are stealing and eating pets" in rural Ohio.

A Border Patrol agent forced a teen girl to "show him her papers." He then arrested her, kidnapped her to his house, & raped her for hours on end.

It wasn't enough to ban Black hair styles from classrooms & offices, or to ban Black writer's books from schools & colleges, or to ban Black history from education curriculums—now they even want to ban Black people from speaking in a manner that racists don't approve of. This is how white supremacy permeates every aspect of society today, and why it isn't enough to be not racist—we must be actively anti-racist.

Economic inequality in USA is worse today than before the Great Depression & I think often about this warning from the great James Baldwin when he said, "We have yet to understand, that if I’m starving—you are in danger. People think that my danger makes them safe—they're in trouble."

How come we never hear media report that in the year prior to 10/7—Hamas killed 250 Israeli civilians, kidnapped 800 Israeli kids, took 8000 Israelis hostage, & built more than 12,000 homes on Israeli land?

Because Hamas did none of those things. In reality, in the year prior to 10/7, the Israeli Govt killed 250 Palestinian civilians, kidnapped 800 Palestinian kids, took 8000 Palestinians hostage, & built 12,000+ homes on Palestinian land.

But go on—pretend this all began 10/7.

As a Muslim I'm upset that Israeli soldiers burned copies of the Holy Qur'an & bombed historic mosques—BUT TO BE CLEAR—that pales in comparison to my outrage as a human at Israel's indiscriminate killing of 40,000 Palestinians. Stop arming Netanyahu. Uphold human rights law. Now!

Enforce the binding UNSC resolution that Israel and Hamas both agreed to, and end this horrific atrocity. Not one more person needs to die.

In 2024 USA has suffered a mass shooting every 15.5 hours and is on pace to kill 40K Americans. This is seen as an atrocity & mandates gun safety legislation.

Meanwhile since 10/7 USA has delivered weapons of mass killing to Israel every 15.5 hours, who has so far killed ~186K Palestinians. This is seen as a necessity & worst of all, we have laws on the books that ban giving weapons to nations credibly accused of human rights violations—Biden's State Dept just refuses to enforce them.
