If a #maga person is careless in their digital references to a friend or family member in a jurisdiction that has criminalized #reproductive or #gender-affirming #healthcare then a #criminal investigation could result.

So despite the happy talk about "communicating with those who disagree with us," the #ethics are clear.

There is no coherency to #maga ideology, and there are #publichealth & #legal risks to #undocumented #queer & #pregnant people from maga policies.

What choices do #CivilLegalAid #lawyers have when #Microsoft adds a mandatory #ai feature to its word processor?

An #attorney may choose a #libre or #opensource alternative, but many #judges & #LegalProfessionals let the ai train itself on their work product & client information despite the #ethical issues.

Some claim the professional duty of competence (RPC 1.1) requires use of ai.

That's also my reason for being here. I feel attracted to an interoperable, community digital medium. My other "social media" are group threads.

Tbh, if the "greed is good" commercial social media were suddenly regulated out of existence and/or the principals were criminally investigated, it would not surprise me.
