An illustration loosely inspired by the game "Stray", which makes it an Illu-Stray-tion, I guess.

Four landscape paintings. Which one is your favourite?

"Landscape with Rice Field". I'm not very creative when it comes to titles for my paintings atm. But I do enjoy making them!

I rarely paint straight-up fanart, but I still take a lot of inspiration from different things and reimagine them in my own way. This painting, titled "Sanctuary" was inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! Here is a painting I finished earlier this year, called "Ancient Forest". It's inspired by Princess Mononoke & the Yakushima forest in Japan.

I'm new here & I figured I'd introduce myself! I'm Djamila, an illustrator based in Germany. I paint things that are inspired by nature, nostalgia & Japanese animation.
