Our JPL director Dr Laurie Leshin reporting that “No fire damage so far (some wind damage) but it is very close to the lab.” 🥺

Today we sent a sequence to the Clipper spacecraft (19 million km away) that contained a message honoring the 92 former Clipper team members laid off by this year’s “workforce actions” at JPL. Know that the success of this mission is forever tied to your hard work and your dedication.

This is so cool! The outward-facing side of Europa Clipper's vault plate shows waveforms symbolizing the word 'water' in multiple languages. There are several copies staying on Earth, this one will be at the Smithsonian, with initials of people who worked on the mission, I found mine, GFD! 🤩
