@Radical_EgoCom I agree that revolution is inevitable, but the timeline and in what way that revolution can go is a bit uncertain. I sometimes wonder if humans will even live long enough to see revolution. Statistics and tendencies are good ways of trying to imagine the future but they don't necessarily predict it. But in the end, all of this is very intellectual and my problem is one of the heart and not of the mind. If only I could get those two to talk more, things would be much simpler.

I have awoken with a particularly low level of hope & faith. The revolutionary optimism I've wavered in but always came back to seems gone for good. It's been on a steep decline for 6 months b/c of both personal & political situations. My values haven't changed, but the energy to enact them is gone. I feel defeated & I'm not sure what to do about it. Advice?
Otherwise I'm going to a monastery & it's the monastic life for me

I'm not sure if there's a term that exists for what I'm doing in this age of technofeudalism. There probably is. But a term I use in my mind is "digital homesteading." And I'm surprised how many people seem actually interested. It's, of course, all about making it accessible to non tech people.

Anyone else crying their eyes out because you had to break up with a guy for his own good, because he couldn't be polyaccepting anymore than you could be monogamous? The tyranny of the algorithm. The one last site that I couldn't tear myself away from but had one was YouTube. I recently learned YouTube channels have RSS feeds. I am finally free. There is no algorithm on my social media now. And let me tell you, I am unbothered, moisturized, happy, in my lane, focused, flourishing.
