They want you to be scared.
They want you to be silent.
They want you to feel alone.
Refuse. Hope is an act of defiance.

From the first #EarthDay: Students in St. Louis marched wearing masks to protest smog and air pollution.
The inaugural 1970 protests drew millions, and led to the creation of the EPA and clean air standards.
With science under greater attack than ever, we need more of this activism today!
Massive march in New York today to protect migrants and protect the planet #april19
Let's be clear here: If you mumble "people should get the measles vaccine" but then spend the rest of the interview saying "many vaccines aren’t safety tested," your position is still dangerously anti-vax.
Do not normalize RFK's deadly lies just because he'll say the bare minimum to keep his job.
Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines.
When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.
Scientists aren’t playing around #HandsOff
A second child has died of measles in Texas. The child was unvaccinated. Tragic and preventable, this is a direct consequence of anti-vaccine disinformation.
Please ignore tired pieces in publications like the Atlantic that are still trying to stigmatize mask wearing.
Wearing a mask to prevent sickness from airborne viruses is a science-informed position, and it has been that way for over 100 years.
US women deserve better
only caring about your own rights is
exactly how you lose them
All anti-mask laws—even those with so called “medical exceptions”—stigmatize mask-wearing.
Fewer people wearing masks increases the spread of infectious diseases.
No matter how lawmakers try to spin it, any law that criminalizes wearing a mask endangers public health. Period.
Democrats are on the verge of passing a law that criminalizes wearing a mask in New York, ignoring public health experts.
Call your elected officials and tell them to reject any anti-mask law that endangers public health.

"Grants are getting killed “without any scientific input anywhere. It is purely political,” said a member of a senior leadership team at a large NIH institute. “The science in this country is going to be destroyed if you can change what the priorities are going to be every four years. You can’t do science that way.”"
They are taking away the right to protest.
They are taking away the right to express political opinions.
They are taking away the right to protect your health.
These are all fundamental human rights.
Do not be silent about losing them.
Trump’s CDC is cancelling $11 billion in COVID funding allocated to health departments and nonprofits, claiming the grants are no longer necessary because the pandemic is over.
This is wrong. COVID is a continuing threat and millions have Long COVID. We still need to do more to mitigate its harms.
The Office of Long COVID Research and Practice will close as soon as this week, according to an internal HHS email obtained by Inside Medicine.
This is the opposite of what you would do if you were genuinely interested in finding treatments for chronic diseases, as RFK claims.
Must read deep dive by Gina Kolata into the chaos at the National Institutes of Health that the Trump administration is causing.
“This is like Russian roulette. You don’t know what’s coming.”
AOC = Anti Oligarchs Club
If you want to fight authoritarianism, one of the worst things you can do is restrict people’s ability to exercise their first amendment rights. Yet by trying to push through a mask ban, that’s exactly what some New York Democrats are doing.
