Okay, a question for those who #travel here. Does the type of plane affect your decisions as to the airline / route you fly?

I was just discussing this with some people and I said that I would, at least at the moment, never want to fly a route using Comac planes.

I caught blossom season in Japan during one of my pre-pandemic visits, admiring the plum blossoms which usually come before cherry blossoms. Not quite as famous as cherry blossoms, but they can look similar enough / the same to the uninitiated.

When I asked the same question of the #photography community here about a practical and noticeable difference between #FullFrame and #MFT / #M43 when shot at high ISO, you guys stepped up and actually helped and answered.

I have more followers on #Bluesky, and only interaction I got was a like from @simon_diamond, someone to whom I regularly chat anyway.

It feels like there're no real #community spirit there. Reminds me of why I ignored Bluesky after getting an invite at the beginning.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Heh. I also feel as though Bluesky is pretty much going the same way as the bird site, just on the opposite end of the spectrum.

But I have seen some equally toxic content spew up on my timeline on there too.

Suffice it to say, I genuinely enjoy the community here a lot more. Interactions in general feel so much more real and genuine on here.

Fingers crossed we get more aurora tonight, but looking at NOAA's space weather forecast, I don't think I'm very hopeful.
