@evan I’m not trying to instruct you, I’m trying to engage you in a colloquy. Do these things exist? Do you know if people are working on them?

I like the idea of a household server, and am curious if people are working on what you would need to make that more doable.

@evan are there tools for parents who are not confident sysadmins to maintain network/system security? Who don’t have experience with content moderation to manage federation, blocklists, set content policies?

@tchambers @thisismissem usually these kinds of distributions have a single mode close to about $25 and a really long tail that right-censors at the legal limit.
