The Chicagoland legend who invented the BBS has passed. Plenty of late nights dialing into Zeller Zone or Bear Whiz listening to Wax Trax! records pressed in the Windy City. I went to the Living Computer Museum two or three times. Once I even got to go through the collections in the back. It was really incredible. There was nothing like it - including the larger Heinz Nixdorf museum in Germany and the more famous and older Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley.
