I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for that kind of sentiment because I know many people now who knew they were trans as teens, and the only reason they chose to keep going was because of online support networks.

People like this talk about thinking of the children but the reality is they don't actually care about the children. They want to control the children but couldn't care less if those kids are suffering emotionally.

@hadley The people pushing this are most certainly right-wing chuds who shouldn't be allowed to have children in the first place.
Most probably do not want them to have any kind of support networks because abused people who have support networks are less likely to tolerate further abuse, and not be empowered to take any kind of stand against it.

What next, do you also propose that kids only be allowed to speak to their parents, no one else?

In their ideal world children don't speak at all, they believe children should be seen and not heard.

Mozilla is such a terrible company, really sucks that they are the only alternative to chromium based browsers, and they still suck as a company.

This is why we need a community maintained browser, something that is made by the community and for the community. Where those maintaining it aren't insulated from the community's wishes. Mozilla is insulated from them and that's a big problem for the future of Firefox, and anything else they make.

I agree, misogyny is a problem, but fighting it with misandry isn't the solution. Two wrongs don't make a right and if we as a society want things to get better we should make an effort to end sexism on all fronts.

Hello everyone today I would like to discuss something not too pleasant involving harassment in my DMs. As well as address the issue of calling people eggs.

So earlier someone decided to message me on Matrix trying to claim I'm not cis because I post in c/196 which is a stupid claim on its own but it gets worse because when I pointed out that I'm Agender they started trying to argue that it's not real and that "everyone is either male or female". On top of that they tried to argue that I'm transfem in denial by pulling up an old reddit post on ACNH. They also decided to send me an onion link for DIY-HRT and also AI generated porn of my sona as a post-OP MtF fingering (I know it was AI gen because it had deformed paws and a fake watermark).

This behavior is unacceptable and if it was the first time I wouldn't be making this post.
