Love it here but there are some pompous, self righteous cunts and I'm learning to just ignore them because you can't reason with them.

Someone pointed out that having a dormant Twitter account probably wasn't enough of a metric for Twitter to go, "we have a trillion registered users, give us millions to advertise", without buyers looking for a bit more data to make a decision. Also they rightly pointed out Twitter could just create fake users if needed to bolster that number anyway.

Not an unreasonable talking point, put politely, but apparently that made him a Nazi. Mic drop from the moral high ground. "I win".

Both parties were fundamentally in agreement about Twitter being terrible but one had to be purer and would rather burn allies than listen or discuss. Tiresome behaviour.
