Google AI support may provide inaccurate results. It is intended to handle support queries only, and not designed or intended to meet your financial, legal, compliance or other obligations.

Trump Memes are intended to function as an expression of support for, and engagement with, the ideals and beliefs embodied by the symbol "$TRUMP" and the associated artwork, and are not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type.

In MY history of tech I've never experienced so much pushing of a technology on me. Google keeps on bugging me over and over to use their AI. I keep dismissing it over and over and they keep coming back. Microsoft insists on giving it to us. Raises my subscription for things I never wanted, asked for, or intended on paying for. Now CoPilot is free for GitHub users. Has this happened before? Why do they insist we use AI so much?

"On a global level, neoliberal advocates won a large victory with the establishment of the World Trade Organization which dictates the global rules of trade between nations, rules that heavily favour the sovereignty and interests of multinational corporations over sovereignty of democratic states, even allowing corporations to sue nations in international court."

Large Corporations are the new sovereign states. Has King Charles responded to the iwi leaders yet, or was he too busy schmoozing with Tim Cook? We give these corporations power by deciding to work for them (and I get it, America breeds work to survive) and deciding to buy and use their products and services (guilty 🙋🏽♂️). What we purchase (and don't) as individuals can lead to change in the capitalist system if enough of us do it. Wait is this the climate change argument?

    This one’s quite important, https://thespinoff.co.nz/atea/25-10-2024/the-under-the-radar-treaty-clause-review-that-could-have-far-reaching-consequences.

While Māordom has been in an uproar about the Treaty Principles Bill, which New Zealand First MP Shane Jones says is “dead in the water”, the coalition government has quietly set the wheels in motion for at least 28 pieces of legislation to have their Treaty clauses reviewed and potentially removed.

Key terminology here is “investors.” This seems like just the right sort of trickery perfected by conservatives in America.

    thx @ClareBear

I also want to remind people that this applies to Hawaiʻi. Tourism doesn't serve Hawaiʻi, it serves the corporations majority of which are not based in Hawaiʻi

Here's some real ground breaking Māori Data Sovereignty news which you probably didn't hear because mainstream doesn't cover genuine DataSov just the kind that Big Tech thinks they're doing.

Tl;dr for Māori by Māori distributed data storage centers.

Everyone should know that spell check is broken in software you spend hundreds on because Microsoft insists you use a cloud service to check your spelling. This has broken custom spell check technologies indigenous people have built for their language.
