Look, all I know is that if Joe Biden had clearly fallen asleep at the state funeral for a pope, it would have dominated media coverage for days and been covered by political media as a scandal detrimental to the reputation of our country.

It's funny how when you ask them why they think Pope Francis was "too woke" and request specific examples, they always wound up describing Christ's teachings without a hint of self-awareness.

I'll say it again: in a country where due process is individually denied and then broadly eroded and eventually eliminated, being a citizen will not protect you from the terror of this administration.

I've had folks ask me if they should still shop at Target.

You gotta do what's right for you. I haven't shopped at Target in well over a year, ever since they removed Pride merch.

Folks may call that a boycott if they wish. I call it giving my money only to businesses who value me as a customer.

It's not true that the four U.S. soldiers who recently died in Lithuania weren't honored by a sitting president. The problem is that wasn't the U.S. president who honored them. It was the President of Lithuania. Trump couldn't be bothered with it.

Today, thousands of openly-transgender service members will put on their uniform and do what needs to be done because they honor their oath to our country, while Pete Hegseth denigrates their service and violates his oath by brazenly sharing classified intel in text groups.

At the moment, I don't care about 2028 and who might run. Show me Democrats who will lead us effectively through the rest of 2025, and I'll be open to talking about 2028.

Trump is using campus protest as a gateway to prohibit all protest in the long run. This is a long game to dismantle First Amendment protections. I hope that's obvious to everyone.

General CQ Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, wasn't fired by Trump because he "supports woke policies." He was fired because he's a Black man in the nation's top uniformed military post.

Today, Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida stated that she intends to call members of the Warren Commission to testify for her investigation of the JFK assassination.

The problem, of course, is that all seven members of the Warren Commission have been deceased since 2006.

President Biden should order the National Archivist to publish and certify the Equal Rights Amendment. I doubt it'll hold up in the courts, and I don't care. Make it a problem for the GOP. Force them to explain why women aren't equal in our Constitution. What is there to lose?

I honestly can't stand when journalists use the term "culture war" to describe an argument over whether or not trans people should be recognized as worthy of human rights.

Cable news producers: no, I will not come on your program to "debate" opposite Trump surrogates on the question of whether trans people are entitled to basic human rights. I urge you to sit down for a few moments and try to imagine someone you love being asked to do that.
