2026 will be the year I get back to invest more time in ttrpgs, specifically developing a D&D campaign that I've been pondering for some time now. I find small-scale world-building and adventure design very rewarding. I'll also be trying out a new set of supporting tools, specifically the 2024 ruleset, D&D Beyond as the VTT, and Obsidian for notes. I'll also be trying out a few AI tools to replace some of the random tables and generators I've used in the past. #DnD
I was thinking of giving Tot a try, but since it relies on iCloud sync I"m wondering if I'll be stuck with the same problem. The upside is that multi-device sync is a key feature for the app, so they are more like to make sure it works, no?
Everyone knows that mastodon accounts have RSS feeds and you can follow them in a feedreader or any service that can parse the RSS URL from the profile's web page, yes?
It is starting! ”[Lindt] announced that it will shift its Canadian chocolate supply from U.S. factories to European production facilities to circumvent additional duties.” 🇨🇦
Skaters on the Rideau Canal this afternoon. I'm not a skater, but it has been great to see so many people out enjoying what has been a solid season of skating on the canal this winter! I also managed to capture to crew of tractors cleaning the ice. #ottawa#winter
How can I follow a hashtag but not have it show up in my home feed? I was hoping to be able to add hashtags to a list, but that doesn't seem possible. (Using Ivory as my client, if that matters) #mastodon#lazyweb
@evan I feel that way every time I look up into the night sky, every time I focus my attention on the natural world. I personally don’t need to share in a media spectacle to feel connected to others and the existence we share.
