I used to think Elon Musk was a real hoopy frood. His firms stimulated more affordable electric cars, and shook up the stagnating US rocket industry with advanced rocket designs.

Then... Oh dear. He turned into a complete smeghead.

I should have seen through his blustering sooner, but I see it now.

Why do people, especially Americans, have such a beef with vaccines?

They have scientifically researched ways of reducing lethal and debilitating diseases, but they are refused by so many.

I read that Louisiana wants to ban all seasonal vaccines, flu, COVID-19 etc. and possibly to stop recommending the usual childhood vaccines, MMR, Polio etc.

Utter madness. Polio and Measles kill people. And vaccines stop that; only if they are given to a sufficiently high percentage of the population.

I feel #brexit was predicted on the UK forming a stronger partnership with the US.

Trump's reelection has shown how this strategy can backfire.
