During the night to February 14, 2025, from the local time 19:30 of February 13, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 133 UAVs and drones of various types, launched from the the regions of Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The air attack was repelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and as of the Ukrainian time 08:30, it was confirmed that 73 attack UAVs and drones of other types

I almost want to say, what did I say about Pokrovsk! I had many people screaming about how wrong I am in my reports and analysis about the fate of Pokrovsk. Also many bloggers and youtubers were trumpeting the fall of Pokrovsk before winter.

Just yesterday I said that Pokrovsk could be the Armageddon of the Russians because they have a whole division concentrated in a small area. I will come back to Pokrovsk later in the update but I want to start in Chasiv Yar.
Chasiv Yar is a small town with special ridges and valleys around it. The fighting is going on inside the center, the center consists of a dozen high-rise buildings,

church, park and town hall. Of these, only wall stumps remain, so the Russians have a hard time finding safe places to move. Because we have higher positions, we see everything they do and can direct artillery to precision shots, and our FPV drones operate effectively. Ryzka forces launched relentless attacks in an attempt to break through our last lines of defense. When a concentration of over a hundred Russian soldiers was spotted preparing

for a final assault, they launched a devastating air strike with bunker-busting munitions. As a result, about 10o Russian tourists were eliminated at once.
In order to take over Chasiv Yar, brutal melees are fought in the central part of the city, but the advance of the Russians is measured in inches, not meters, while suffering serious losses.

Tourist forces deploy groups of infantrymen in crowded neighborhood areas in combination with artillery and close air support (glide bombs), which also inflict casualties on the Russians.
While fierce fighting is taking place around the industrial area and the city center, our forces maintain stable control over the central high-rise buildings. We have a strange situation where Russian artillery and air strikes lack precision, unlike us.

This is compensated by the quantity of artillery fire and air strikes, dropping up to four glide bombs on a single position, hoping to hit their target.
Due to the total destruction of houses and consequent lack of cover, our drone operators discovered that Russian forces were gathering in basements and bunkers around Kalynivka, from where they advanced into northern Chasiv Yar and towards a factory site.

Therefore, surveillance of the area was intensified and our drone operators observed a group of Russian soldiers moving through the abandoned pipelines and into the basement of the water treatment plant. They quickly counted over a hundred Russian soldiers gathered

in the basement below the building. It became clear that the Russians were preparing a final, all-out attack to take over the central district. Since such an attack could turn the tide of battle, the air force was called in to drop a JDAM bomb on the building. The bomb effectively penetrated the ground, destroying the Russian underground bunker and eliminating all Russian soldiers inside.

The attack came suddenly and unexpectedly to the tourists, these losses have also severely dampened Russian morale and paused the offensive efforts. The Russian command will likely have to pause its operations in Chasiv Yar to find new points of accumulation as well as do something to prevent our forces from continuing with the precision strikes.
So to Kursk, the information blockade continues

but we are shoring up the area we took. Whether we intend to continue to Ulanok is uncertain. It is a larger community and requires significantly more troops, most likely we will pause and wait for an opportunity to make another quick maneuver. Also, the North Koreans have now been deployed again, it was thanks to less ryzk manning we got through.
So to Pokrovsk and our counterattacks there.

There is still an information blockade AND I cannot yet reveal the information I have received from the field. Whether it is a serious offensive is not yet 100% clear or whether it is a pre-attack to feel out the enemy and reconnoiter. What is official is that we attacked from three directions; against Kotlyne, Pishchane and Uspenivka simultaneously.

What is remarkable is that we came along the roads. It was probably the speed of the attack that caught the Russians off guard, it was something they had not expected. They were probably in the same belief as some of the western bloggers and experts; that it is the Russians who have the momentum and initiative.

We should wait for the official reporting and see whether our military leadership now believes that the pendulum is in the position to swing back, or whether we should thin out even more.
