This morning on #WFMU: Surface Noise (Almost) Live from Lincoln Center!
You may recall that a couple of weeks ago, Surface Noise was poised to do a live remote broadcast from Lincoln Center's Library of the Performing Arts with special guest Don Fleming. Tech issues interfered but our intrepid DJs pre-recorded the show instead, featuring a wealth of rare and interesting music selected from the library's vast collection. That show will be broadcast in full on today's Surface Noise. (9am EST)

ICYMI: We recently rolled out the WFMU ARCHIVE BUNKER app! iPhone and iPad users can now browse ALL archived WFMU shows going back to the year 2000! Not just the most recent archives of shows currently on the schedule — but ALL of them. (Sorry, no Android at this point.)

6pm: Astronomy professor Sam Lawler describes the problems with Elon Musk's Starlink satellites on Techtonic, hosted by @markhurst. These problems include the streaks of light ruining astronomers' photographs, the increasing danger of collisions in orbit, the addition of toxic chemicals to the upper atmosphere, and the sheer scale of the "megaconstellation," which is planned to grow to tens of thousands of satellites.

9pm: Episode 5 of Antenna Alley, a new series of short, absurd yet factual insect-music adventures created by Irene Moon on Daniel Blumin's show. Tonight's episode features musical compositions created by LoVid + The Virus along with a reading by porest!
