We sincerely hope everyone is enjoying some relaxation over the Labor Day weekend in Houston. As meteorologists, of course, when the weather is weather-ing, we are here!

We continue to see showers and thunderstorms today, particularly south of Interstate 10. Also, it really does appear as though fall’s first front arrives next weekend.

After a warm weekend, winter has blown back into Houston overnight. We’ll be sunny and colder for a few days before a warming trend begins Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Friday and Friday night ahead of another front that should bring drier and cooler weather next weekend.
