Another reason I left Twitter is because I think I became addicted. Not proud of this, but with the news cycle having us on constant alert, I understand it.

So I've started using a pretty hardcore website blocker, and after a few days I am feeling much more like myself.

@SDF Thank you. I saw a disturbing news feature on how they are built to encourage addiction - makes total sense. I am relieved to not see the same problems here - it's far more intentional and like the good old days of connecting online.
